    Total Terminates Acquisition Of 20% Interest In Repsol

      Total S.A., an energy company, terminated the acquisition of 20% interest in Repsol YPF S.A., a company engaged in the exploration, production, refining and marketing of crude oil and natural gas, from Sacyr Vallehermoso S.A., a company engaged in construction, real estate and property management business.

      Earlier on September 25, 2008 Total S.A and Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell), an oil and gas company, made a bid to acquire 20% interest and other assets of Repsol. The transaction was valued at EUR4,600 million ($6,548.56 million).
