Low interest of consultants in the project for the construction of the first private thermal power plant in Azerbaijan

    September 20, 2021 - Turan Information Agency

Baku/20.09.21/Turan: The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan refused to continue the selection of a consultant on legal, technical and financial issues for the construction of a gas turbine power plant (TPP) in the territory of the village of Yashma (Khizi district).

According to the website www.etender.gov.az, this decision was made by the ministry in view of the insufficient number of applicants for participation in the selection.

The selection began on August 27, 2021 and was carried out by polling quotes.

The Ministry of Energy noted that the construction of the gas turbine power plant is planned at the expense of private investment. All the thermal power plants currently operating in Azerbaijan were built at the expense of state capital. -0--
