    Aspire Energy Earns AGA Honor for Safety

      DOVER, Del. - Aspire Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK), was recognized with an American Gas Association (AGA) Safety Achievement Award for excellence in employee safety at the 2021 AGA Operations Conference.

      AGA Safety Achievement Award recipients are determined based on a total DART (occupational injuries and illnesses that result in Days Away, Restricted or Transferred) incidence rate below the industry average. Aspire Energy was recognized as one of the best in the Small Local Distribution Company category.

      Aspire Energy owns and operates natural gas gathering infrastructure throughout 40 counties in Ohio, and provides natural gas supplies to several local distribution companies and cooperatives.
