    Wind farms generate 28.58% of UK’s electricity on Dec 5

      December 6 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines supplied 203,226 MWh of electricity to the UK grid on December 5, reaching a share of 28.58%.

      Power plants in the country produced 711,197 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      On December 4, the share of wind power in total power generation in the UK reached 36.68% as wind turbines produced 246,342 MWh.
