SOCAR increased volume of LNG trade by one third in January-April

Baku/18.05.22//Turan: SOCAR sold 2.01 bcm of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on international markets in January-April 2022.

"In January-April, the volume of LNG trade by SOCAR amounted to 2.01 bcm, by 33% higher than the same period last year," reads the information published on the company"s Telegram page.

According to SOCAR, the volume of third trade in oil and oil products of countries for 4 months amounted to about 14.65 million tons.

"Currently, the company supplies Azerbaijani oil of the Azeri Light brand and oil products to over 100 points in 40 countries of the world, and also successfully trades oil and oil products in third countries. In January-April, the volume of trade in oil from third countries amounted to 13.341 million tons, oil products - 1.306 million tons.

As reported, SOCAR Trading SA, a trading subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, is engaged in the sale of oil, oil products and gas on international markets. The company started operations in December 2007. SOCAR Trading SA is headquartered in Geneva (Switzerland). -0-
