Venture Global Reaches FID For Plaquemines LNG Project In US 27 May 2022 United States Infrastructure News: Venture Global LNG has secured USD13.2bn to reach a final investment decision (FID) for the initial phase of the proposed Plaquemines liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and the associated Gator Express pipeline. The financing would support the initial 13.3mn tonnes per annum phase of the facility. The company has already secured all necessary permits, including FERC authorisation and non-FTA export authorisation from the US Department of Energy. Also, it has executed 20-year sales and purchase agreements for 80% of the project (NS Energy).
