Russian Federation : Gas production in Russia is reduced by 4-5%

Since the beginning of the year, gas production in Russia has decreased by 4-5%. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak at SPIEF.

"In terms of gas, we are partially reducing production this year by about 4-5%. However, if we had 762 billion last year, these are record figures, 5% will still be 730-750 billion, such figures ", - said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Novak also said that the global energy balance from the point of view of various sources during the pandemic has not changed much: "The share of oil, gas, coal - traditional energy resources - remained at the level of 2019. Sun, wind is still only 6-7%."
