    Oil and natural gas production falls in July

      According to Perupetro's figures, oil production in barrels per day (BPD) in July this year was lower than in June and stands at 39,864 BPD.

      Likewise, the figure recorded in July is slightly higher than that obtained in the same month of 2021. Among the lots with the highest production of this total are: Block 95 with 10,485 barrels and Block X located in Piura with 11,044 barrels.

      Followed by Block Z-2B with 5,337 barrels. The Peruvian Hydrocarbons Society (SPH) informed that the following lots have no production: 192, Z-1, Z-6, Lot III, Lot IV and Lot 8.

      As for the production of liquid hydrocarbons, a decrease is observed in July 2022, at 107,011 (MBPD). Compared to the same month of 2021, a drop is also observed.

      Regarding natural gas liquids production, a slight decrease is observed in July, from 83,431 (MBPD) in June 2022 to 67,148 (MBPD) in July.

      The companies that reported the highest production growth were: Pluspetrol with 63,966 (MBPD), followed by Repsol with 2,312 (MBPD).

      Regarding natural gas production, there was a drop from 1.462 (MCFD) in June 2022 to 0.983 (MCFD) in July.

      This month's figure is slightly higher than the same month in 2021. The lots that reported the highest production growth were: Lot 88 with 834,291 (MCFD) followed by Lot 56 with 43,631 (MCFD).
