    Sen. Kaine Introduces Bill on Interstate Natural Gas Pipeline Permits

      WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., has introduced legislation (S. 4864) to "amend the Natural Gas Act to bolster fairness and transparency in the consideration of interstate natural gas pipeline permits, to provide for greater public input opportunities in the natural gas pipeline permitting process."

      The bill was introduced on Sept. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mark R. Warner, D-Va. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
