    Russian gas reserves down 6.3% in 2021, oil stockpile up 0.1%, says ministry

      MOSCOW, September 19. /TASS/. Russia?s proven reserves of natural gas on the country?s territory decreased by 6.32% in 2021 compared with the previous year to 44.5 trillion cubic meters, whereas oil reserves added 0.11% to 19.03 bln tonnes, according to a draft of state report on the state and protection of environment in the Russian Federation in 2021 published on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on Monday.

      Coal reserves lost 0.11% to 274.8 mln tonnes.

      "The volume of proven fuel-energy reserves of mineral resources (crude oil, natural gas, coal and uranium) in 2021 compared with 2020 decreased on natural gas, coal and uranium by 6.32%, 0.11% and 0.41% respectively and increased on crude oil reserves by 0.11%. Compared with 2012 in 2021 there was a reduction on most types of fuel-energy resources in the range from -0.04% to -9.37%," the document said. --0--tre
