    Russian Federation : The first batch of LNG from the USA was delivered to the terminal in the Netherlands for the Czech Republic

      The first batch of liquefied natural gas (LNG) was delivered for the Czech Republic by sea to the LNG terminal in the Netherlands. This was announced by the press secretary of the Czech energy company CEZ Roman Gazdik.

      The first batch of American LNG for the Czech Republic was delivered by a tanker to the sea terminal in the Dutch city of Eemshaven. A third of the capacity of this floating terminal was recently leased by the Czech Republic for 10 years through CEZ, he said.

      The tanker delivered 100 million cubic meters. m LNG, writes TASS . By the end of this year, seven more such ships with LNG for the Czech Republic will arrive in Eemshaven, Gazdik said.

      The Czech Republic can store 3 billion cubic meters in the terminal. m of LNG, which is one third of the annual gas consumption in the country. Energy raw materials will be pumped from the Netherlands through Western and Central European gas pipelines.
