    Kazakhstan reveals volume of natural gas exports

      BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. The volume of natural gas production in Kazakhstan in July 2022 amounted to 725.2 million cubic meters, which is 11.3 percent less than in the same month of the previous year and 13.6 percent more than in June 2022, Trend reports via Kazakhstan Statistics Committee.

      According to the committee, production of natural gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 5.9 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, which is 9.3 percent less than in the same period last year.

      Kazakhstan imported 533.2 million cubic meters of natural gas in July 2022, which was 21.3 percent more than in the same period the previous year and 25.3 percent more than in July 2022.

      Kazakhstan's import of natural gas amounted to 4.3 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, which is 22.3 percent less than in the same period in 2021.

      Kazakhstan exported 1.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas in July 2022, which is 20.4 percent less than in the same period the previous year and 9 percent more than in July 2021.

      Kazakhstan's natural gas exports amounted to 8.2 billion cubic meters in the reporting period, which is 20.4 percent less than the same period last year.

      The natural gas sale on the domestic market of Kazakhstan amounted to 137.4 million cubic meters in July 2022.

      The natural gas sale on the domestic market from January through July 2022 amounted to 2.1 billion cubic meters, which is 12.5 percent more than in the same period the previous year.
