    UK’s wind farms generate 34.21% of all electricity on Oct 2

      October 3 (Renewables Now) - The share of wind power in total power generation in the UK reached 34.21% on October 2 as wind turbines generated 176,113 MWh.

      Power plants in the country produced 514,802 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      On September 30, UK wind parks produced 254,557 MWh of electricity, thus accounting for 35.72% of the total power output in the country for the day. On October 1, wind accounted for 56.99%, with 304,328 MWh generated.
