EC Infosystems Ends 2015 with Impressive Track Record of Major Achievements

    December 14, 2015 - UNIONDALE, N.Y. - December 15, 2015

EC Infosystems, a leader in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing/Customer Information Solutions (CIS) for clients in the deregulated energy industry, today announced that it has ended the year closing 32 new contracts, surpassing all strategic marketing and sales targets for 2015.

In addition to new sales, EC Infosystems has achieved a number of other milestones in 2015. The company has surpassed 125 employees, and now serves more than 300 clients whose service territories interface with more than 100 utilities in 23 states, and support more than 4.5 million meters each month.

"I am extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish in 2015," said EC Infosystems President and CEO, Mohan Wanchoo. "I firmly believe we offer the best solutions platform in the industry for today's competitive energy retailer, as well as superb product development and customer support teams dedicated to consistent innovation and excellence year after year. I am extremely proud of our entire staff and the efforts they have contributed to making us an industry leader."

EC Infosystems' customers continue to win prestigious awards for superior customer service and client satisfaction. One of EC Infosystems' Texas clients was recently ranked by J.D. Power as #1 in customer satisfaction in the state of Texas among residential retail electricity providers (REPs). The J.D. Power study, conducted by surveying customers throughout the state, measured customer satisfaction with REPs across six factors: enrollment/renewal, billing & payment, price, communications, corporate citizenship and customer service. Another EC Infosystems' UtiliBill customer that supplies electricity and natural gas in New York State, was honored as "Turn Around of the Year" at the New York Energy Marketers Fall Conference in September.

"2015 was a great year," said Ananda Goswami, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at EC Infosystems. "We signed 32 new sales contracts for our CIS/Billing solution and Electronic Data Interface services, and renewed a number of existing contracts -- often with additional products or services. These include a number of companies that switched from key competitors, seeking the superior ease of use and maintenance of our hosted solution, speed of entry into new markets, fully-integrated EDI and Billing, and an overall lower cost to serve their customers," said Goswami.
