    October 25, 2016 - UNIONDALE, N.Y. – October 25, 2016

Energy retailer relies on EC Infosystems' integrated EDI and Billing/CIS platform to support five years of aggressive growth

EC Infosystems, a leader in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing/Customer Information Solutions (CIS) for clients in the deregulated energy industry, today announced that its client, Phoenix Energy, has earned the position of 152 in the "Inc. 500" list.

"We are extremely proud of Phoenix Energy," said EC Infosystems President and CEO, Mohan Wanchoo. "We have watched them grow from a fledgling startup to a leading retail marketer of renewable energy in the New York Metro area. We are also proud that we could provide the technology platform to support that growth."

Phoenix Energy Group supplies renewable energy, electricity and gas to residential and commercial customers in the New York Metropolitan area. Phoenix Energy began using EC Infosystems' Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services in 2011, and in 2015 moved onto the company's full UtilibillT integrated EDI and billing/CIS platform to support its growing customer base with a higher level of service.

"EC Infosystems has been with us every step of the way," said Phoenix Energy Group President, Sean Sheikh. "Their exceptional hosted technology platform required a minimal learning curve, and virtually no investment in additional IT resources.  We are confident that the Utilbill platform, along with the outstanding support we receive from EC Infosystems, will serve us well for many years to come as we continue to build market share."

"Phoenix Energy Group is one of many clients that have taken advantage of our low-maintenance hosted model, full EDI integration, and easy to use customer care features to support rapid customer acquisition and entry into new markets," added Ananda Goswami, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at EC Infosystems. "We offer Phoenix Energy our sincere congratulations, and we are confident they will continue to garner recognition from prestigious organizations like the `Inc. 500' in the future."
