ScottMadden to Moderate Panel on Utility Regulatory Framework at the SNL Energy Utility Regulation Conference

    December 12, 2016

ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, is proud to join industry thought leaders as a sponsor at this year’s Utility Regulation Conference: Strategies for Profit and Reliability, from December 14–15, 2016, in Washington, DC. The Utility Regulation Conference is the pre-eminent executive conference for power and gas utility executives focused on their growth and profitability strategies. This year’s event features the industry’s most influential utility executives, advisers, regulators, and investment professionals sharing their perspectives on the overall landscape and financial alternatives in the current regulatory environment.

Rick Starkweather, partner and leader of ScottMadden’s regulatory practice, will moderate the panel discussion, “Regulatory Framework for Utilities: From Plant Closings to Renewable Growth.” Additional panelists include Chuck Harder, Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge and Joel Schmidt, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Alliant Energy. Mr. Starkweather commented, “We are excited about participating in the SNL Energy Utility Regulation Conference again this year. This event is one of the industry’s leading conferences and always features thought-provoking, timely topics and diverse stakeholder perspectives.”
