Jamaica Public Service Soliciting Bids for Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics Data Management Solution

April 28, 2017 - Jamaica Public Service Company Limited

JPS is soliciting invitations for bids, from qualified vendor(s), to build out its Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics Data Management solution.

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) reporting framework, currently exhibits a fragmented approach due in part to the utilization of multiple distinct systems. The business currently operates multiple operational systems, across several business units, each with distinct data and reporting requirements for efficient operation and performance management. This has led to unstructured and inconsistent approaches to data-use, retrieval, presentation, analysis, duplication of work and the creation of data siloes. Additionally, the data analysis and reporting processes -- for the ordinary user -- are extended to include extraction, cleansing and transformation, which diminish its reliability.  Operations are further debilitated due to a lack of user access to required data and their inability to effectively utilize same to make meaningful and timely decisions.

To receive a copy of the RFI, please respond to rfi@jpsco.com “Enterprise Data Warehouse Invitation for Bid” in the subject line.”
