Clevest announces partnership with Darwin Labs and the integration of its Clear360 solution with Clevest Mobile Workforce Management
Clear360 is an enterprise health management solution, designed to protect utility workers and members of the public from the spread of viral infection. Clevest selected the technology to help safeguard employees at a time when location monitoring and quick views of worker health is especially crucial.
The integration of Clear360 with the Clevest Mobile Workforce Management (MWFM) platform will allow utilities to introduce a critical step in daily safety readiness procedures for front-line workers.
“As providers of essential services—including gas, electricity, and water—our customers must go to work every day, regardless of what’s happening in the world,” stated Carol Johnston, VP of Marketing and Product, Clevest. “In order to do this, they must take proactive measures to ensure the safety of their employees, customers, and communities. Our partnership with Darwin Labs will allow Clevest to offer utility organizations the tools to do this seamlessly and transparently.”
The Clevest MWFM platform is configured for utilities to automate and optimize their field operations. Workers log in to the system at the start of each day to access schedules and other information. The partnership between Clevest and Clear360 will allow utilities to introduce a prerequisite step to ensure each worker is symptom-free and safe to interact with fellow employees and customers.
At the start of each day, prior to accessing work assignments, workers will voluntarily answer a set of questions, self-testing for temperature and other symptoms. The data that is collected is anonymized in accordance with privacy laws. In the event a test result is positive, an authorized member of the company’s HR team will be informed and will communicate with the worker, helping them with next steps.
“The Clear360 health-check application was built to help organizations detect emerging threats that could compromise worker safety and public health,” said Ashish Anand, CEO and Founder of Darwin Labs and Clear360. “It provides HR teams with the necessary insight to respond rapidly to workplace health concerns. The platform is designed to assess risks for a range of viruses, including COVID-19, and can be easily configured to align with and reinforce local, provincial, state, and federal guidelines.”
If a worker tests positive, the company can quickly take action to contain the situation. Leveraging GPS tracking and other data within the Clevest MWFM platform, worker contact tracing can be performed immediately, in support of communication to co-workers and customers who may have been in contact with the employee. Additional safety measures – such as the disinfection of workspaces and vehicles – can also commence.
“The ability to track worker safety and prove regulatory compliance with new health and safety guidelines is critical for utility organizations,” stated Carol Johnston, of Clevest. “The partnership between Clevest and Darwin Labs will allow them to accelerate their post-Covid-19 reactivation strategies so they can minimize disruptions and restore regular service to their communities”
