    California produces 140.8 GWh of renewable power on Nov 15

      November 16 (Renewables Now) - Renewable power generation in California, excluding large hydro, increased to 140,826 MWh on November 15 from 132,234 MWh in the previous day, according to data by the California Independent System Operator Corp (ISO).

      The wind power output for the day stood at 32,686 MWh, a 124.99% jump, but solar photovoltaic (PV) generation went down to 66,388 MWh from the previous day's 72,872 MWh.

      Solar thermal power plants added 2,638 MWh to the solar total, 3.41% below Sunday's level.

      Small hydropower plants (SHPPs) generated 4,845 MWh on November 15, while geothermal stations supplied 23,774 MWh.
