    State Intellectual Property Office of China Receives Univ Hunan's Patent Application for Self-Adaptive Adjustment Offshore Wind Power Sub-Synchronous Oscillation Suppression System and Method

      Beijing, Nov. 22 -- State Intellectual Property Office of China has received Univ Hunan's patent application for self-adaptive adjustment offshore wind power sub-synchronous oscillation suppression system and method. Zhang Zhemeng, Li Canbing, Zhou Bin, Zhang Cong, Yu Hao and Wang Xin developed the invention.

      The patent application number is CN202011410806 20201203. The patent publication number is CN112398147 (A). International Patent Classification codes are H02J3/24, H02J3/28 and H02J3/38. Cooperative Patent Classification codes are H02J3/24 (CN), H02J3/241 (CN), H02J3/28 (CN), H02J3/38 (CN), H02J2300/28 (CN), Y02E10/76 (EP) and Y02E70/30 (EP).

      State Intellectual Property Office of China has released the abstract. According to the abstract, "The invention provides an adaptive adjustment offshore wind power sub-synchronous oscillation suppression system and method. The system is used for suppressing sub-synchronous oscillation through a super capacitor attached to an outlet bus of an offshore wind plant and a super capacitor control system and a damping control loop which are attached to the super capacitor. The damping control loop isused for outputting a control signal to the super capacitor control system, and the super capacitor control system adjusts the super capacitor through the control signal. The damping control loop comprises a dynamic signal extraction module, a pre-signal processing module, a filtering module, a proportional phase shift amplification module and a self-adaptive adjustment module. The self-adaptiveadjustment module is used for carrying out self-adaptive adjustment on parameters of the pre-signal processing module, the filtering module and the proportional phase shift amplification module. According to the invention, sub-synchronous oscillation endangering stable operation of a system can be effectively suppressed."
