January 17 (Renewables Now) - With 57,206 MWh generated, wind accounted for 3.59% of the electricity generation in France on January 16.
Power plants in the country produced 1,593,923 MWh for the whole day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.
Solar power accounted for 1.51% of the total output with 24,064 MWh produced.

On January 14, France's wind parks generated 26,081 MWh of electricity, thus accounting for 1.54% of the total power output in the country for the day. On January 15, they produced 27,688 MWh for a 1.69% share.
