Power Grid, Africa50 Sign JDA For Transmission Line Project In Kenya

News: Africa50 and Power Grid Corporation of India have signed a joint development agreement to develop the 400kV Lessos – Loosuk and 220kV Kisumu – Musaga transmission line projects in Kenya. The scope of work includes the development, financing, construction and operation of the transmission lines under a public-private partnership model. Under the contract, Power Grid will provide technical and operational consultation, while Africa50 will provide project development and finance expertise and will act as a bridge between the Kenyan government and private investors, according to a press release from Africa50.
