    (NATIONAL/CITY) Quetta-Karachi highway blocked against gas load shedding

      Residents of Hub blocked Quetta-Karachi highway near Sari Bakery area of Hub in district Lasbella of Balochistan province on Saturday against gas load shedding.

      According to correspondent of PPI, Hub, gas load shedding compelled residents of the Hub to take to the streets. Quetta-Karachi main highway was blocked by the protesters near Sari Bakery area of Hub in district Lasbella for vehicular traffic, demanding authorities to ensure supply of gas to the residents of Hub. Quetta-Karachi highway remained blocked till writing this report.


      One coal miner died in a coal mine incident occurred in a local coal mine in Duki area of Balochistan province on Saturday. According to rescue sources, coal miner died after rope of a trolley broke, hitting the miner on the head in a local coal mine of Duki.

      The body of the deceased namely Faizullah, resident of Killa Saifullah, was shifted to Civil Hospital, Duki for completion of codal formalities and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities.
