Sweden is among the countries in the world that are the most attractive for wind power investors, according to Norwegian bank DNB, which has located its new office for global investments in renewable energy in Stockholm. Salvatore Santoro, Head of DNB Investment Banking in Sweden, says the bank has a great inflow of orders for financing wind farms and other related transactions. One recent example is German company Enercon's sale of 100 MW wind power capacity in Ersträsk, Swedish county of Norrbotten, to Greencoat Renewables. Salvatore Santoro says the costs of investing in wind power are among the lowest in the world in Sweden.
