January 19 (Renewables Now) - The share of wind power in total power generation in the UK reached 17.86% on January 18 as wind turbines generated 149,133 MWh.
Overall electricity generation for the day stood at 835,021 MWh, data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo) shows.
