The 3 wind turbines have been built on the east side of the A29 (Blaaksedijk). The installation teams will continue to assemble the wind turbines over the next 3 weeks. In the meantime, the crane has been moved to the other side of the highway. The wind turbine, which is located 900 meters from Heinenoord, will be lifted there.
Depending on the amount of wind in the coming period, the builder expects to be able to hoist the last 2 wind turbines on the west side of the Heinenoord tunnel within 3 weeks. Trial runs will then be started, which is expected to be in the second part of February.
You will find current information about this in February on the Oude Maas Wind Farm website. The modified road over the tunnel will remain in place for a few more weeks, until the last blades of the wind turbines have passed.
