    Dongfang Electric Wind Power Applies for Patent on Method for Preventing Light and Shadow of Wind Turbine Generator from Polluting Resident Houses

      Beijing, Jan. 24 -- Dongfang Electric Wind Power has applied for Chinese patent for method for preventing light and shadow of wind turbine generator from polluting resident houses. Shen Fei, Zeng Yiming, Fu Bin, Ma Jilong, Ning Kun, Yang Heli, Li Yuxia and Lei Yi developed it.

      The patent application number is CN202011443477 20201208. The patent publication number is CN112555097 (A). International Patent Classification codes are F03D7/02, F03D7/04 and G06F17/11. Cooperative Patent Classification codes are F03D7/0204 (CN), F03D7/045 (CN), G06F17/11 (CN), Y02B10/30 (EP) and Y02E10/72 (EP).

      The abstract of the patent published by the State Intellectual Property Office of China states: "The invention discloses a method for preventing light and shadow of a wind turbine generator from polluting resident houses. The method comprises the following steps that (1) a mathematical model forrepresenting the light and shadow of a wind wheel of the wind turbine generator is established in a rectangular plane coordinate system which takes the center of a tower of the wind turbine generatoras an original point, takes the longitude line of the original point as a Y axis and takes the latitude line as an X axis; (2) a coordinate value (x, y) of a resident house in the rectangular plane coordinate system is actually measured, the coordinate value (x, y) is plugged into the mathematical model for calculation, and when a calculated value T is less than or equal to 1, a current moment point A (x, y) is in an ellipse, and at the moment, the resident house is influenced by the light and shadow of a fan; and when the calculated value T is greater than 1, the current time point A (x, y) is outside the ellipse, and residents are not influenced by the light and shadow of the fan; and (3) when the resident house is influenced by the light and shadow of the fan, a fan controlsystem participates in fan yaw control in time, a light and shadow generation range is narrowed, the wind turbine generator completes control response on the basis of the obtained impeller yaw and rotating speed control instruction, light and shadow pollution is reduced as much as possible, and the downtime is shortened as much as possible to improve the power generation capacity."
