News: Hellenic Cables has secured a contract from DEME Offshore to supply array cables for the 1.2GW Dogger Bank C, the third phase of the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm project in UK waters (Renewables Now). The Dogger Bank C is owned by SSE Renewables (50%) and Equinor (50%), while Dogger Bank A and B are owned by SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%), and Eni (20%). DEME Offshore is the engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor for the subsea cabling portion of the Dogger Bank C project. Under the contract, Hellenic will design, manufacture, test and supply around 240km of insulated inter-array cables and its accessories.
