January 24 (Renewables Now) - UK wind parks produced 123,206 MWh of electricity on January 23, or 17.37% of the total power output in country for the day, based on live data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).
On January 21 and 22, the share reached by wind was just slightly higher, at 19.85% and 18.38%.
Sunday's total power generation in the UK reached 709,340 MWh. Details are available in the table.
