Amp Energy Secures Planning Consent For 800MW Energy Storage Complex In Scotland

News: Amp Energy has secured a planning consent for an 800MW battery energy storage complex in Scotland. Called the Scottish Green Battery Complex, the portfolio involves the installation of two 400MW energy storage systems in the towns of Hunterston and Kincardine, which will each providing 800MWh of energy storage capacity. The overall complex is due to be operational in 2024, according to a press statement from Amp Energy.
