      VSB Group Subsidiary Plans To Build 329MW Wind Farm In Croatia

      News: VSB Hrvatska, a unit of VSB Group, plans to build the 329MW Imotski Zone wind project in the coastal region of Dalmatia, Croatia. The proposed project, estimated at EUR400mn (USD423.9mn), will come up near the city of Imotski and is projected to generate 700GWh of electricity per annum. The wind farm will cover six municipalities: Proložac, Lovrec, Lokvicici, Podbablje, Zagvozd and Runovici. The wind facility is still under the initial stages of development and is awaiting bylaws to secure energy approval from the Croatian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. Environmental impact assessment is also underway (Balkan Green Energy News).
