Eurus Energy To Acquire Investment Stake In Green Hydrogen Scheme In New South Wales, Australia

News: Japan-based Eurus Energy has signed an agreement with Energy Estate to acquire investment stake in the AUD2.00bn (USD1.44bn) Hunter Hydrogen Network (H2N) in the Australian state of New South Wales. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Under the deal, Energy Estate will be the lead project developer and Eurus Energy will be the co-developer. The scheme is likely to complete by 2026 with first phase aimed to produce green hydrogen, while second phase will include transportation of hydrogen via pipelines. AGL Energy, ITM Power, Idemitsu, Trafigura and APA Group will conduct due diligence for the project (NewCastle Herald)
