Sungrow signs 2-GW product distribution deal in Australia

    May 6, 2022 - SeeNews Renewables

May 6 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar inverter maker Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) said today it has signed a supply contract for 2 GW of products with Australian distribution partner Solar Juice.

The deal covers the provision of the full range of Sungrow products, including photovoltaic (PV) inverters, storage systems, batteries and other accessories. They will be deployed as part of solar projects for residential and commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in Australia.

According to Sungrow, this is the largest and most comprehensive contract of its kind in the Aussie solar market.

"The 2 GW milestone will help Sungrow capture the market opportunities and strengthen the brand involvement in Australia," said Joe Zhou, country manager of Australia, Sungrow.
