Axpo Signs PPAs With Mirova Eolska And Uriel Renovables For Two Wind Farms In Poland

News: Axpo Polska has signed two power purchase agreements (PPA) with Mirova Eolska and Uriel Renovables for 165MW under construction wind projects in Poland. Axpo Polska will purchase the output and Guarantees of Origin from the facilities and will provide balancing services and fixed-price hedging for part of electricity under a pay-as-produced arrangement. The first 144.9MW wind farm, owned by Mirova Eolska and Uriel Renovables, will be equipped with 42 Vestas V126-3.45MW turbines. The second 20.7MW farm, owned by Uriel Renovables will also use Vestas turbines. The PPAs are expected to come into effect after the facilities become operational by the end of 2024 (Renewables Now).
