    UK's wind farms generate 30.94% of all power on May 9

      May 10 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines supplied 217,961 MWh of electricity to the UK grid on May 9, reaching a share of 30.94%.

      Total power generation for the 24 hours arrived at 704,495 MWh, according to data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      Generation data per power source is available in the table below.
