Construction Started On MacIntyre Complex In Queensland, Australia

News: Acciona Energy has started construction on the AUD2.0bn (USD1.4bn) MacIntyre complex in the Australian state of Queensland. The 1,026MW project will comprise of two wind farms including the under-construction 923MW MacIntyre wind project, owned by Acciona (70%) and Ark Energy (30%), and the 103MW Karara wind project, developed and operated by CleanCo Queensland. The wind farms will feature 180-units of Nordex's Delta 4000 turbines generating 5.7MW power. Construction of the project is expected to be completed in 2024, according to a press release from Acciona.
