Sheikh Khaled toured the exhibition, met with local and global energy companies, and was briefed on the latest innovations in power generation, transmission and distribution, nuclear energy, water management and desalination, which are helping to drive the transition to a sustainable energy ecosystem.

He was accompanied by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Awaidha Murshed Ali Al Marar, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Chairman of TAQA and CEO of ADQ, and Jasim Husain Thabet, Group CEO and Managing Director of TAQA.

Awaidha Al Marar, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE), said, "Hosting the World Utilities Congress in Abu Dhabi demonstrates the emirate’s commitment to building a sustainable future.
