Ncondezi Energy Concludes Preliminary Study For 300MW Solar-Plus-Storage Project In Mozambique

News: Ncondezi Energy has concluded preliminary study work for a 300MW solar-plus-storage project in Tete Province, Mozambique. The proposed project would come up on a site where the firm is developing a 300MW coal-fired power plant. China Machinery Engineering is the general contractor for the coal-fired power plant and would provide 60% of the equity investment. A final investment decision for the coal power plant is expected in H122, with operations expected to start in 2025 (Renewables Now).
