Deerfield 2 wind farm in Michigan

Scope of Work: Construction of Deerfield 2 wind farm in Michigan.

Description: The deal was placed by Canadian utility Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp and covers the supply, installation and commissioning of turbines from Vestas EnVentus platform at site. A 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement is included. The contract calls for the Danish manufacturer to supply 16 units of the V162-6.2 MW turbines in a 6.0 MW operating mode and one V150-6.0 MW machine in a 5.6 MW operating mode for the Deerfield 2 wind farm in Michigan.

Project have difficult-to-build location due to land availability and transport limitations in the state. The wind turbine maker will start delivering the equipment in the second quarter of 2022, while the wind farm is set to become operational in the closing quarter of the same year.
