NIZHNY NOVGOROD. May 16 (Interfax) - RES Engineering LLC, a developer of thermal mechanical systems for nuclear power plants, plans to place production at the site of its co-owner, PJSC Ruspolymet (MOEX: RUSP), in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
"In 2022, we will open a production site in the Nizhny Novgorod region, as we planned earlier. The site will be located on the territory of an enterprise that is part of the PJSC Ruspolymet group of companies, namely CJSC Drobmash in the city of Vyksa," Sergei Tikhonov, CEO and co-owner of RES Engineering LLC, told Interfax.
"There are plans to organize the production of thermal mechanical equipment and systems at the site for the needs of enterprises Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation, including NPPs under construction, both in Russia and abroad," Tikhonov said.
The RES Engineering website reports that the company has carried out approval and acceptance tests of the pumping unit for the Kursk NPP-2, and its assembly was carried out at Drobmash.
