    Complete guide: all hybrid and electric models sold in the country

      The road to electric mobility in the Argentine market in the 21st century was opened by two Japanese companies.       Electric cars sold in the country

      The 100% electric SUV is marketed in the country with a 300 kW power unit that develops about 408 horsepower and up to 441 kilometers of autonomy. For its energy, it equips a high-voltage lithium-ion battery that is housed under the passenger compartment and composed of 36 modules with 12 cells each.

      Porsche Taycan - From $324,800

      As with all models of the German company in the country, the Taycan is offered in different versions and body styles. The most basic, the 4S, has 530 hp, 640 Nm of torque and 79 kWh batteries with a range of 353 kilometers.

      The SUV has a self-recharging hybrid engine, which improves range and reduces fuel consumption and emissions. Its two engines deliver 203 hp. The battery is charged by a generator connected to the shaft of the gasoline engine, which transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy.

      Ford F-150 HEV - $14,877,000

      The country's first hybrid pickup is powered by a 400 hp 3.5 V6 gasoline engine, which is combined with a 45 hp electric engine. When working together, they reach 436 hp. In addition, the F-150 HEV features auto start/stop technology and a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

      Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid - From $5.929.000

      The hybrid option of the SUV is composed of the 1.8L of 98 hp that works in conjunction with an electric 72 hp to reach 122 hp. The transmission is an eCVT automatic with a pre-programmed 10-speed sequential mode and front-wheel drive.

      Toyota Corolla Hybrid - From $4.707.000

      The twelfth generation had the novelty of incorporating the hybrid. Developed on the GA-C global platform, based on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) manufacturing philosophy, it is equipped with a 1.8L and a self-charging electric, coupled to the eCVT.

      This model was renewed in recent months to add its ECO label. It is equipped with a 3.0 V6 six-cylinder engine that develops 367 hp and is associated with the Mild Hybrid electric mechanics.

      Like the E53 Coupé, it adds the 435hp power unit with the 48v battery. According to the brand, this combination made the model can reduce by more than a liter its consumption in critical situations.
