Greencoat UK Wind To Acquire 12.5% Stake In 1.2GW Hornsea One Offshore Wind Project In UK

News: Greencoat UK Wind has agreed to purchase a net 12.5% stake in the 1.2GW Hornsea One offshore wind complex in the UK. Under deal, valued at GBP400mn (USD496mn), Greencoat will acquire the stake from Global Infrastructure Partners, which owns the project via a 50-50 joint venture with Ørsted. The wind complex, located off the coast of Yorkshire, is powered by 174 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy turbines. The acquisition is due to be finalised in Q322 (Renewables Now).
