The Minister of Production, Commerce and Industry, Silvina Córdoba, and the National Deputy, Gustavo "Kaky" González, met with representatives of the European company that is seeking to disembark in Puerto Deseado with a focus on the production of clean energy.
The meeting was organized by Congressman Carlos Santi, after La Opinión Austral made it known that in the port and mining city there is a project of great dimensions that aims to carry out a pre-feasibility study to install a Wind Farm and a Green Hydrogen Plant.
"I met with three interested companies, all multinationals. One of them is more advanced and has signed pre-contracts with land owners facing the coast", said the legislator of the ruling party in an interview with Radio LU12 AM680 of Río Gallegos.
Power
As La Opinión Austral has already pointed out, the European capital firm is making progress in the pre-feasibility study, essentially focused on knowing the intensity and quality of the winds in that region of Santa Cruz.
"The Governor -AliciaKirchner- says that we are energy because of oil and gas, and now we are energy because of this project", he analyzed before the "Dean of Patagonia".
The expectations of the public sector have grown in the last hours, since the initiative strengthens the bet of accentuating the green economy. Puerto Deseado and the other coastal cities - San Julián, Río Gallegos and Puerto Santa Cruz - present competitive advantages that configure a great potential for Santa Cruz and the country.
