Energiekontor said that the Vettweiss-Mueddersheim wind farm will be located in the German town of Dueren, with commissioning set for April 2023. The Vettweiss-Mueddersheim turbines are expected to be capable of generating some 13 GWh of power per year.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The transaction reunites Energiekontor with Difko, which previously acquired a 3.6-MW single-turbine wind project in Lower Saxony from the Bremen-based developer.
