Ball Signs VPPA For 151MW Wind Project In Texas, US

News: US-based aluminium packaging maker, Ball, has signed a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources to purchase the output from a 151MW wind project in the US state of Texas. Ball expects its portion of the project to generate around 600GWh of electricity per annum. Construction of the project is underway, with operations scheduled to start in 2023 (Renewables Now).
