Ez4EV Plays At the Intersection of Storage And Digital Payments

    May 20, 2022 - Saur News Bureau

Startups are making the most of the EV transition, especially with digital payments made so easy in India. We now have Ez4EV Pvt Ltd (easy-for-electric vehicles), an energy management company and developer of innovative solutions for the EV charging sector, has broken barriers of the standard source (grid) of energy input by successful design and development of decentralized clean power generating platforms using Solar/CBG/CNG. After its first offering of EzUrja Mobile - the ultrafast mobile EV charging solution, it is another solution introduced for BESS-based EV charging services, both static and mobile.

Ez4EV's proprietary battery-integrated EV charging technology, EzUrja Static, addresses grid constraints by packaging charging infrastructure, grid infrastructure, and energy storage into a fully integrated compact solution. Utilizing CNG Stations, CGDs, or the newly developed Biogas for localized power input to the BESS-based EzUrja ensures power availability anywhere in the urban or rural space, making the transition to EV viable by eradicating anxiety around the vehicle's range.

Ez4EV provides distributed energy management services that unlock the inherent value of the battery system through load shifting, demand charge management, resiliency, and more, followed by Charging as a Service.

Ez4EV through its JV - EzPyramid Energies Pvt Ltd with the Pyramid Electronics Group, Himachal Pradesh, seeks to maximize its in-house proprietary technology, R&D, and manufacturing for the Make-in-India range of ultrafast AC-DC & DC-DC EV chargers (up to 240 kW) and energy storage systems. Pyramid has multiple achievements as the largest supplier of heavy-duty UPS, inverters to the Indian Railways, solar inverters, and other innovative Powertronics, taking this JV to the center of Innovation for E-mobility technology for the Indian & Global Market.

Ashhok Kapoor, Chief Business Officer of Ez4EV Group stated, "Our focus is to ensure clean energy, regulated and at-ease charging service to all EV owners. We shall be offering customized products & solutions through our proprietary technology for State-of-the-art BESS, and EV charger technology, supported by more than 75 service centers nationwide.

The company aims to deploy more than 300 EzUrja Mobile ultrafast battery-integrated EV chargers (DC-DC), over 100 EzUrja Static Solar/CBG/CNG based integrated EV chargers, and more than 10,000 ultrafast static EV Chargers (60 kWh - 240 kWh) by 2024.

The Green Energy alternates shall ensure 100% decentralized clean energy contributing fully towards carbon capture, COP26 commitments, SDG guidelines, and a healthier planet for all."

EzUrja Mobile EV Charger solution integrated with its patented Li-ion battery and EzPyramid's proprietary Powertronics, EV chargers & switching technology starts from 50 to 250 kWh. The unit offers GBT / CCS1 / CCS2 and CHAdeMO (if required) connectors, which can charge up to 4 vehicles simultaneously. By July 2022, the company plans to roll out EzUrja Mobile 50, 100 & 200 kWh models for Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Fleets & Bus Fleet Operators.
