    May 20, 2022 - M-Brain Nordic News

Swedish wind power company Eolus Vind reported a net loss of SEK 138mn (EUR 13.19mn USD 13.74mn) in the first quarter of 2022, which was down from a net loss of SEK 17mn in the same period of 2021. The company's net turnover amounted to SEK 432mn, up from SEK 242mn, while EBIT fell to negative SEK 158mn from negative SEK 29mn. Eolus Vind also reported that its project portfolio grew by about 2,000 MW, of which the Blekinge Offhosre project accounted for 1,000 MW. The company stated that it intensified its efforts to sell the Stor-Skälsjön wind power project in the first quarter of 2022 and sold its share to MEAG in the early stage of the second quarter of 2022. Eolus Vind also states that it will manage to retain its project margins thanks to higher energy prices despite the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Moreover, the company stated that it aims to continue its work with the launch of wind turbines related to the Øyfjellet project in Norway for handover to the client in June 2022.
