HERMOSILLO, SON.- An outbreak of fire occurred inside a building located in downtown Hermosillo, which left a man with minor injuries when he tried to disconnect an electricity supply pump, which began to short circuit.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, in the lower part of the building located on Pino SuarezStreet , between Elias Calles Street and Monterrey Avenue.
Elements of the Fire Department and the Municipal Police attended as first responders, finding a man who was working as a security guard, who had difficulty breathing after inhaling smoke.
Immediately, the firefighters pulled the victim out to suffocate the fire that had already gained strength when it made contact with a desk chair, cardboard and paper.
Although the victim presented respiratory problems, there was no need to transfer him to the nearest hospital, as he was stabilized once he was out of the fire scene.
