      Siemens Energy AG, a Germany-based energy company, intends to acquire remaining 33% stake in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (Siemens Gamesa), a Spain-based supplier of wind power solutions and a subsidiary of Siemens AG

      Siemens Energy owns 67% stake in Siemens Gamesa, and the outstanding 33% stake worth over EUR3 billion. Siemens Energy's management is considering a cash tender offer for all outstanding shares in Siemens Gamesa with the intention to delist

      The outcome of this consideration is open. No decision has been made and there is no certainty that a transaction will materialise.
