CIP Unveils Plan To Build Offshore Wind-Based Hydrogen Production Facility In Denmark

News: Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has unveiled plans to build an artificial island for the production of green hydrogen from offshore wind in the North Sea off the coast of Denmark. Called BrintØ, the proposed facility is likely to come up near the Dogger Bank offshore wind project, backed by 10GW offshore wind, which will primarily be used to produce around 1mn tonnes of green hydrogen per annum. The production facility is likely to be operational in 2030 (Enerdata).
